Day 1: Arrive in Addis Ababa- City Tour

Welcome to Ethiopia. Arrive at Bole international airport and meet and assist by our representative. Depending onyour arrival time, you will have Addis Ababa city tour. The Addis Ababa activities include MountEntoto for the panoramic view of Addis Ababa, National museum: home for the oldest and famoushominid fossil, Lucy‟, Trinity cathedral church, Ethnographic museum the then palace of EmperorHailesellase known as little Ethiopia and Merkato: the biggest open air market in East Africa. Whiledriving through the capital, you will visit significant historical monuments of Addis Ababa.Overnight stay in Addis Ababa.

Day 2:Addis Ababa – Langano

Morning drive from Addis Ababa to Langano. The copper colored is 210 kms south of Addis Ababa. Thelake is a popular resort of swimming, aquatic sports, sunbathing, camping and bird-watching. Along theshore cliff dwellers and acacia inhabiting birds setup a noisy chatter.On the way, visit Lake Zway; the largest lake in the northern Rift Valley Lake chain which extends over434 sq. kms. Its extensive aquatic vegetation attracts variety water birds. The lake also houses five islandsinhabited by the surrounding Oromo community and the zay people especially on Tulu Gudo Island.Overnight stay in Langano.

 

Day 3: Langano- Wondo Genet-Hawassa

In the morning, stay in Langano to enjoying and swimming and in the afternoon you will visit there and then drive toWondo Genet and a few hours stay in Wondo Genet. This place is one of the sites for forest birds include Endemic birdsuch as Yellow Fronted Parrot, Abyssinia Oriole, Black winged love birds. Another thing enjoys and swimmingvolcanic hot spa. In the late afternoon, further drive to Hawassa.Overnight stay in Hawassa.

Day 4: Hawassa – Addis Ababa – Departure

Morning visit the daily local fish market at the shore of Lake Awassa. This market will give you anexperience where local people enjoy different variety of fish cuisines including the Ethiopian version“Sushi”. Here, a lot of aquatic birds can be spotted. Then, drive back Addis via Addis-Butajira road. Here,you will visit the Tiya Stele which are registered by UNESCO as World Heritage Site in 1980.Later transfer to Addis Ababaairport for your onward flight or back home.
